Las Vegas has made the 49ers the favorite to win the NFC West, but I don’t see why. The Niners were 6-10 last year and they haven’t brought in a lot of new talent. I think the bettors are pinning their hopes on new head coach Jim Harbaugh. The Niners also have 10 games against teams that had losing records in 2010. That being said, if forced to bet on the 49ers, I would take the under.
The 49ers won 8 games in 2009 but I think they are on the brink of big things in 2010. The Cardinals are going to be weaker while the Seahawks and Rams are going to continue to stink. If J.T. O’Sullivan is the real deal the Niners will win more than 6.5 games in 2008, but, I would have to bet against that happening.
