The 49ers played a good all-around game and they deserved the win.  Tully Banta-Cain recovered a Kurt Warner fumble in the end zone to win this game in OT.  Trent Dilfer had a good game as he completed 25 of 39 passes for 256 yards with 2 TDs and 0 interceptions.  Frank Gore was unstoppable as he carried the ball 21 times for 116 yards (5.5 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 11 passes for 98 yards (8.9 avg).  Arnaz Battle only caught 1 pass….but it was a 57-yard TD!  Vernon Davis (6 rec, 45 yards, TD) and Darrell Jackson (5 rec, 43 yards).  The 49ers finished up with 137 yards rushing on 25 carries (5.5 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 39 passes for 237 yards.

The 49ers defense gave up a lot of yards but they made big plays when they had to.  Patrick Willis was a monster with 18 tackles and 1/2 a sack.  DBs Michael Lewis (12 tackles, sack), Nate Clements (10 tackles) and Walt Harris (3 tackles, 2 interceptions) all had solid games against the Cardinals.  The Cardinals finished up with 96 yards rushing on 24 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 35 of 49 passes for 456 yards.
