St. Louis Rams 13, San Francisco 49ers 9
It’s official…..the 49ers really suck bad! Trent Dilfer started this game but he didn’t play any better than Alex Smith would of….and that’s saying something. Dilfer completed 20 of 42 passes for 231 yards with 2 interceptions. Frank Gore had a sub-par game with 15 carries for 32 yards (2.1 ypc) and he also caught 5 passes for 31 yards (6.2 avg). Arnaz Battle led all receivers on the 49ers with 6 grabs for 86 yards (14.3 avg) and TE Vernon Davis pitched in with 4 catches for 50 yards (12.5 avg). The 49ers finished up with only 32 yards rushing on 16 carries (2.0 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 42 passes for 212 yards.
The defense of the Niners was led by the line as Marques Douglas (10 tackles, 1/2 a sack) and Bryant Young (4 tackles, 2.5 sacks). The Rams finished up with 102 yards rushing on 29 carries (3.5 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 32 passes for 105 yards.

Damn, my 9ers are really having a tough season. All we can hope for now is for them to win the wildcard and really try to bring it home.
